Another game that has been added to the franchise recently, but this time it’s on mobile devices and is a bit more of a RPG that I was looking for. It isn’t required to play it, but I think this is a fun alternative to Bravely Default and just a fun JRPG.

I especially enjoy the ability to let your character choose from both male and female characters and the game still operates relatively well even if there are only a few party members. Even if you decide to play this on your mobile device this game is certainly recommended and can even be played without too much hassle. On the downside, I do think that the gameplay can get repetitive and I wish it had more truely fair dungeons/enemies, but for those who can handle the repetitiveness it can be a very fun experience.

On mobile I was also able to use the touch controls and I must say that they are certainly the best I have encountered so far. The controls really take some getting used to, but in the end I think they are definitely worth it. Along with some of the other quality of life features on mobile devices are some cool camera effects and volume controls.

Gameplay

– When you start up the game, you’ll be asked to choose your class. You’re given the option of creating a Swordsman, Archer, Mage, Seeker or Soldier, each of which has its own unique abilities, and you’ll then be asked to equip your class with weapons. After that, you will have to create a character.
– When you choose your class you’ll be able to choose from 6 types of weapons. Archery, Energy, Heavy, Light, Magic, and Standard. This system allows you to develop your character or specialize in one of the weapon types.
– Depending on your class, some of your weapons will be classified as primary weapons. These are the weapons that you’ll mostly use and the ones with a higher potential to inflict damage.
– When creating your character, you’ll be asked to give it a name.
– After choosing your class, you’ll be able to choose from 4 types of armor. Leather, Magical, Rusted and Steel. The first 3 are your primary armor. Leather, Magical, and Rusted. These will have different attributes when compared to each other. The armor type allows you to develop your character as well as increase its defense.
– You’ll then be able to customize your character, choosing its appearance and the appearance of its equipment from a variety of different options.
– Your equipment will only be shown after you chose your class, armor, and weapon. The equipment that you’ll be given will be automatically equipped. You can change your equipment using the button on the top right, which brings up the equipment menu.
– Before starting your adventure, you’ll be greeted with the character creation window. After you choose your class, you’ll have access to a variety of customization options where you can change the character’s appearance and equipment.
