    First of all, what is your role in the development of this game?

    I’m a senior designer on the project and mainly responsible for the overall design of the game. I designed the main characters, the systems, the tasks that players must complete, and the end bosses.

    What kind of gameplay experience do players expect from this game?

    This game is a role-playing game where you discover an unknown world through the eyes of a new character and create your own story. There are many different ways that players can achieve their goals in the game. Players will experience quite a bit of different gameplay, such as dungeon exploration and battles against other players.

    How do the characters look like? Are they completely different from past games?

    This game’s characters are quite different from previous games. They are “Tarnished”—a name given to the warriors who used to live in the Lands Between, but who no longer follow the teachings of the Elden Ring.

    Are all the characters you designed?

    This game contains heroes from many different time periods in the Lands Between, and heroes from other different genres, such as fighters and wizards. However, no character is the same as the one you play in the story mode of the game. It’s also possible to create a custom character.

    Are there any main characters who have been changed?
