Eternity’s Endeavour is an update for Eternity: The Dreaming Dark. It is a complete update of Eternity’s Endeavour and Eternity: The Dreaming Dark.
Roughly, Eternity’s Endeavour and Eternity: The Dreaming Dark are very similar. But, since Eternity’s Endeavour is a different story and Eternity is a different game (The Dreaming Dark and Eternity are both “Landscape” type games) we had two different reasons to make these 2 mods.
We took Eternity: The Dreaming Dark and just refined it as we went along, so it turned out the better of the two. I really felt the difference in Eternity’s Endeavour. I worked on it right after Eternity’s Endeavour was finished, so, since Eternity is a more “traditional” fantasy RPG (without the science fiction elements) and i started doing other stuff, Eternity’s Endeavour was more “tweaked” (although, still with the newest graphics).
With Eternity’s Endeavour i tried to recreate the “Eternal” feel by trying to keep the same geographical look, quest structure, etc…, in a more updated timeline (back in 2007 the world would be in a different place than it is now), in an ice-age (but, we can still have witches and vampires and tropical islands since ice-age doesn’t change these things).

this seems like it’s made with the Playstation 2 in mind. I’ve been a huge FF6 fan ever since I played it for the first time on PS2 so obviously this is amazing news for me. Are the other regions getting it? This looks like it was made back when it was. I’m surprised the nes port had been released after such a long time since FF7. He did a well job with the port, I liked using the spinners in battle. there are a couple of more PS1 FF games out, but they haven’t been released in Western regions, yet. Also the PS1 FF canonical games (PS1 FF6 remake) haven’t been released yet. Also there is a RPG PS1 FF game out, if I’m not mistaken. So there still is quite a bit of unreleased PS1 FF stuff out there. maybe one day, I wouldn’t be surprised if they all came out at once…it’s a bit like Final Fantasy Tactics. FF6 remake is out, FF7 remake is coming out soon and FF5 remake is currently in development by CyberConnect2 also.
