I hate when endings are predictable because of the way the book ends. It can be really frustrating, but it also brings a particular tension in that it’s entirely possible for a book to surprise you. In addition to that, you get to anticipate what happens, which makes the excitement even greater. Then, when something comes out completely differently from what you expected, it makes it awesome.
I also like to point out that there’s nothing wrong with a downbeat ending. I really like the Insurgent downbeat ending, for example, and I’m not exactly happy about it.
I feel like this is going to happen…
There is no happy ending, except that Albus doesn’t know the truth.
I feel like Albus is going to move to America, there’s no way he’s going to stay with the Aurors, he can’t stay in school, and he’s trapped on a weird island.
There will be no happy ending, and he will live in a house where no one knows what’s happening.

Every book has a downbeat ending, which is fine, but this is a bit too much.
I feel like Albus is going to end up in a weirdly unreliable narrator-style situation, in that the reader will know things that Albus doesn’t know, but will be led to believe that he knows what’s going on.

Gameplay
With the release of Elden Ring on mobile platforms, Perfect World’s fantasy action RPG finally has a solid entry point for players who enjoy modern day MMO mechanics. Whether you’re new to the genre or a veteran like myself, Elden Ring is sure to have something to offer to a wide variety of players, including anyone interested in action RPGs.
As a graphical MMORPG, Elden Ring is one of the most visually similar titles out there, but that’s not a bad thing. The graphics in Elden Ring fall somewhere between Stellaris and WoW, and as such, they look great. The environments, character models, and monsters are all very detailed and look quite good. One of the benefits that comes with a mobile version of a game is that it doesn’t have to pull any punches with graphics, so even at 4K, the graphics in Elden Ring still look quite good.
First and foremost, the game features a classless approach with a plethora of stat-boosting skills and the ability to pick and choose what skills you want to use. With each class only having six skills, it’s easy to customize the skills you want to use and level them up quickly, so the game is less about classes and more about personal preference. The ability to rank up every single skill from 1-10 is a huge benefit for players who really want to personalize their character and get everything they want out of a classless classless approach, which is something that should be incorporated into most MMO’s moving forward.
Like the graphics, the gameplay is standard fantasy fare. At it’s core, Elden Ring is an action RPG, so players will spend most of their time in an ARPG style battle system. Players will be able to mop up the enemies in their path and are able to pick up loot from enemies and explore around the world.
