And engaging is exactly what this game is. Like Darcring, the combat comes with an interface that is highly intuitive. An easy to understand system that requires minimal strategy to master makes combat feel like an enjoyable activity that is worth the time put into it. Players will have no trouble blasting through the bosses by simply using different attack patterns, which involve close-quarters combat with a single weapon along with the implementation of magic.
An interesting aspect is that magic in the game has a very different feel from the spell casting in Darcring. The spells here are more focused on the offensive capabilities of the character. It’s a system that feels like it could give players a chance to get a sneak attack on their opponents, which feels very satisfying.
A new feature in Elden Ring is the player’s avatar, which can be customized through the Equipment tab. Through the equipment customization system, players can equip different types of weapons and armor in order to become more powerful, which makes for a satisfying combat mechanic.
