I have a global object, in the application.js file, but in some modules I need another object.
How can I reuse the first object and avoid global objects usage in some modules?

and I want to reuse the YAHOO object in some other module. Now, I’m forced to create this module as a global object. But I don’t like this solution, because it means: ‘I should use this object everywhere, so it should be global, and it shouldn’t.’
A:
The best way to do this is to put your code in a module, and then reference the module instead of the global object. If the code is in a module, it’s available to all other modules, so there’s no need to make the module global. If you put the code in a module, you can use requirejs or similar modules to manage the dependencies, or even use node.js’ built in require to load the module.
From your example, I would make sure the module was included with YAHOO.util.Event, and then use YAHOO.safelist instead of YAHOO.safelist.
