You also need to install a basic server for your production environment. There are plenty of options, and they all depend on your needs. Here are some of the most useful options:
OpenShift or UCP
OpenShift is a self-hosted platform to host your application and run it on a server. It is a free option, and UCP is a commercial off-the-shelf product. The use of UCP or OpenShift will vary according to your needs.
The idea is that all of the tools and the API will be on your server. You will also have a much easier time updating or manipulating the devices if something goes wrong, because you have a control panel and can replace the device without visiting the factory.
On the other hand, you can also host an OpenShift container in your production environment, and use OpenShift to host it. In this case, the programming of the modules will be done on the host side. The advantage of this strategy is that you have complete control over your data and will benefit from the features that OpenShift gives you.
