How to get some action to executed every 5 minutes via IntentService
I would like to know if there is a best way to achieve this
For ex: I want to get data from the network, once get data is successful I want to send a notification to the device, after that I need to do some processing with that data and once this processing is completed I need to notify user via popup, and then again need to send some other data back to the server, so on.
My issue is that I need to wake my device up every 5 minutes to execute this long process, so I have tried to make use of the IntentService to do that
but my issue is that I have not know how to make a service to execute it every 5 minutes.
