Fantastic plug-in. This is not your basic delay plug-in. It’s built from the ground up for it’s unique functions. The interface is user friendly with tons of customization options. This is one plug-in that you have to see and hear to believe. If you’ve ever used a basic delay plug-in you’ve already come across the unique MFM2 functionality. At the same time, this is an extremely easy plug-in to use for a novice user, very well documented and with a full software manual. One of the best things about this plug-in is the versatility. Our plugin is free for use in commercial applications and is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License.
It is a one-man show, meaning that the developer is Tom Niinimaki, a Finnish musician. The idea for this plugin came up after he played with a drum machine with the goal of improving his performances. He quickly realized that the delay effect would allow him to play any sound without having to have the knowledge of how to produce it. This observation led to this first iteration of MFM2.
The second iteration has a much better user interface, and the plugin now even supports the Qsynth API.
The core of MFM2 is rewritten in Java, and the first version is relatively small in size. Compared to other plugins, it has fewer features, but I want to improve its quality and its features while keeping its size small.
The third iteration is roughly twice as big. First, it is rewritten in Assembly, replacing the intermediate bytecode layer. In addition, it now supports eight devices.
The fourth version has more features, for example, support for iLok remote license management, which is also included in version 5.

Upgrading from version 3 to version 4
If you have just upgraded to version 4, then you might want to load the latest version of the software using the new installer. It uses the updater that it was distributed with the prior version, which could be greater than version 4.
