The Workflow tools in the Photoshop Help can’t do much unless the images are in an image-editing program in the first place. And, to use the tools, you need to create the images. We’ve reviewed a lot of versions of Photoshop and Elements, from the first versions all the way up to the most recent version available, Adobe Photoshop Elements 17. Today we’re going to review the Adobe Photoshop Elements 15.
This is how I work: I take a picture, I immediately apply basic edits to it (cropping, brightness adjustment, a bit of sharpening), then I open the original image in Photoshop Elements, and I start editing. This way I can spend maximum time editing, while the very beginning is for rapidly processing and processing the raw data.
This post describes only my experience with Photoshop Elements 15. If you have any questions for the review, please do let us know in the comments.
1. Not every version of Photoshop Elements is compatible with every version of Photoshop. It is better to get Photoshop Elements 15 if you’re using Photoshop CS6 or above and Photoshop Elements 14 if you’re using Photoshop CS5 or below. Photoshop Elements, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements for Mac are different things.
This is the first thing to keep in mind when deciding which edition of Photoshop Elements to use. If you’re using Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Elements for Mac and want to use the same skills, this is your best option.
If you’re using Photoshop Elements 15, you’re up to date with the latest features of Photoshop Elements. The differences are not huge, but it’s always better to be prepared. The version available for Mac is Photoshop Elements 15.1, the one for Windows is Photoshop Elements 15.0. It also works for Windows (the Mac edition is Photoshop Elements 14.1).
If you’re using Photoshop Elements 14 or Photoshop Elements for Mac, be careful when you upgrade to Photoshop Elements 15. Photoshop Elements 15 requires a new version of the Adobe Flash plugin, which has been removed for Photoshop Elements 15.1.
If you want to upgrade, you need to download and reinstall the Flash plugin on your computer. This is an easy way. Otherwise, you can use a Flash replacement.
3. The UI is simplified but the functionality is not. Photoshop Elements 15 has a design similar to that of the previous version, but the UI was redesigned.
The interface is cleaner. When working with images in Photoshop Elements 15, you will notice the toolbar at the bottom. It contains tools for Retouching, Cropping, Adjustment, Settings

Make sure that the user has the lock on their membership in the group in the first place. If you want to change their role as a member of a group, you have to be able to do so first.
