the software has been non-functional

I have updated to Windows 10 and I cannot get it to work. This is a brand new version of the software. It worked on Windows 8.1 but not on Windows 10. You cannot start streaming and then save and play the file. I have to work on an old version of the software that works and save and play the file, but it does not work.

I have tried this software and it lags my computer and makes it almost impossible to use the computer as a whole. Basic Audio Stream Usage:
Audio Stream works with three (3) different activities. These are, of course, the three phases of the process of streaming audio.
Locating an.asf File on the Computer
The first activity in using Audio Stream is the selection of an.asf file to use. There are three methods to do this:
Selecting File Open Dialog
On the main menu (pictured below) there is a button that says “Open”. I found this button to be the easiest way to navigate to the.asf file selection. Simply hold the button down and a file dialog window will appear with an “Asf” symbol on the button. In order to select an.asf file, you simply point and click on the.asf file that you want to use.
There are a couple of things to watch out for when selecting an.asf file. The first thing to consider is that Audio Stream will only work with.asf files that have a.com extension. As you can see on the bottom of the window, the application will display the extension of the file that is being selected. Files with no extension will be skipped.
The second thing to consider is how your computer is set up. Usually the.asf extension is associated with a digital audio player. Because of this, it is not uncommon to have trouble locating the.asf extension on your computer. If your computer shows the “File Open” dialog window with the.asf symbol next to “asf” instead of “asf.asf” then you may have a problem.
