Flepp is a TCP-to-Serial conversion program. It is a tool that helps you to monitor and visualize the traffic on your network. As in real-time you can see which computers are trying to communicate or which port they are using. You can also see the “personal details” of every connected computer and port.

Usage:
Flepp is very easy to use. Just create a text file on your disk. In this text file add the IP-address, the source-port and the connection type (tcp/serial/time/…).

but due to the size of the code i had to go with a portable binary, so there are a few files which are not included, like the maps that are stored in base64.

so like my other software i started to figure out a better name for the project that i wrote a long time ago(wow, seems like i’ve been doing this for 30 years) and decided to change the name of the project into a different phrase.

I thought to share this with all of you here.
Anyways, my new software is a project for doing and allowing an easy detection of TCP Connections.The program itself is really simple.
All you need to do is provide the IP address, the TCP port and the source of the connection.Then the software will give you the connection settings so you can do whatever you want with it.
For example if you want to know a connection that contains certain data then you have to use “IF” Statement.
You can do this in the program by pressing the “If” button on the right side(unless you have the else statement enabled).
I don’t know how much effort i put in it, but i created some nice graphs with it.
The next software will be an internet connection sniffer i haven’t started yet.
A while ago i already posted on here about my project that is simply called flepp.
Well, i still have the same program running.
I made some graphics for it and put on this website.
As you can see i have an active connection with a remote machine and a second connection in a local LAN.The other connection is a modem connection which was also on my website when i started the project.
The software is a basic project but it should also work on a PDA and it will too.
I created a basic map for the regular map(created on Microsoft Visio).
On a side note i decided to make the total size of the project a little smaller, so i deleted some of the files(that i didn’t use) and compressed them.

What’s New in the Flepp?
A simple tool for the TCP/IP stack developer that shows the most important values of the trace of TCP/IP and Serial network activity.
“Dirty Data” means that there is no data information available. It only indicates the state of the TCP/IP stack.
The red dots indicate problems in the connection to the source. This includes problems with sending and receiving data as well as problems with receiving data. The yellow dots indicate problems with sending or receiving data.
The data is presented in three graphs.
The first graph presents the activity of a connection. The second graph presents the data packets which have been sent. If there is not enough data packets to display all of them, the last digits of the data packets are logged.
The third graph presents the serial data received from the source. If the serial data is too short to display it all, the last bytes of the data packets are logged.
The application also works with Serial Data. This allows you to see and graph any data that goes out on the Serial port.
Also the application is capable of logging data in graph form by your own. Not only as a listener but also it is capable to send log data back to the source.
Please note that it is not a hardware or software sniffer. It tries to minimize the output to fit your system
It has been tested with Win32, Linux and Mac OS X. The application compiles and runs under these systems without additional file configuration.
