# Understanding what Photoshop can do
Photoshop is a collection of tools and functions for creating digital images. You use Photoshop’s tools to work on the raster image (the pixels that make up a digital image). They include:
* **Raster image:** A raster image is an electronically stored image (see Figure 9-1) that appears when you open a photo or a scanned document.
* **Vector image:** A vector image is the electronic representation of a drawing on a bitmap canvas, which means that it can be scaled without any loss of detail. A vector file is used for objects that have very smooth edges and fine detail, which are best for drawings or typographic items.
The photo editing tools in Adobe Photoshop are configured so that you can work either with a raster image or a vector image and create a composite image that contains both types of files.

(The pixels of a smart object are managed by the object, not the layer, so you can’t edit the pixels.) A smart object is similar to a selection layer in terms of where you drag the area that you want to edit.

Getting Started with Photoshop Elements

GPO with RunAs account and “change” verb not allowed
I’m trying to create a new GPO with the RunAs account in order to run a command line utility.
This is the GPO I’m using (the OU is the default “Domain Users” OU)
Windows Server 2012 R2 x64
The user account is “SomeUser”
Here is the sudoers-file content (the command I would like to run is “dspass.exe -n”)
The strange part is, when I run the command with user SomeUser, the GPO is working fine. The problem is when I run the command with a RunAs account (which is an administrative account), the GPO does nothing (it asks me to insert the username and password).
The “RunAs” account is a member of the “Domain Admins” group, and added to “Domain Local Groups” with the “Local Group Admins” permission.
How can I allow the user to run the command with the RunAs account?
And for the record, I can’t use the “RunAs” account for another task. I need to be able to run the command with this account while inside the GPO.

I may be a bit late but I hope it might be of help to someone.
The way you do it is via NTAuthentication. The server’s default authentication option is NTLM. You can change this to either Kerberos or a custom one (like my example below). This changed setting is stored in gpnadt.inf and is in NSType=2.
To be able to do this in a GPO, you need to add the configuration file to the registry. You need to run the gpresult command against the GPO and look for the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters\NtSecurity\NtType
Here, change the value to 2 and set the new NTLM or Kerberos value (the value may already exist, in this case you just set it to NTLM).
You must restart after changing the GPO values to take effect.
