￭ Download the “Quick Log Setup.zip” file from the Download section

Quick Log is an easy to use, free tool to help you track time and costs of multiple events easily, at the same time.
It helps you to keep track of:
￭ the time spent on work
￭ the cost of the item
￭ the notes about the work
It also helps you to keep track of the history of these events. Quick Log keeps an Event Log that updates itself daily with the current events. The Event Log and your hour rate can also be set for each event individually.
By default, Quick Log will track the time of your current event. The Time of your current event will be displayed in the top right corner of the application.
The Time and the Cost (or price) are displayed in the same line, separated by a hyphen:

If you click the Pg Up button, the Time and the Cost (or price) are displayed in the next line:

The program will automatically total the time and cost of multiple events.
To total the time and cost of an event, you can easily double click the event in the Event Log.
(e.g. Double click the event in the list to total the time and cost of that event)
To add comments to the events, click the highlighted word “Time and cost” (or “Time and price”) in the Event Log. You will then see a comment box in front of the highlighted word.
Right-click the comment box and select “New comment” to enter a comment.
To stop tracking a specific event, you can right-click the highlighted word “Time and cost” (or “Time and price”) in the Event Log. You will then see a Stop button in front of the highlighted word.
Double click the Stop button and the event will be stopped.
To start tracking again, you can double click the highlighted word in the Event Log.
Each event is kept in a separate “data file” and that file can be edited, if needed.
You can edit the date and time of each event in the Event Log as well as edit the Hourly Rate for each event individually.
If the Hourly Rate of an event is changed, the update is applied to that event and all events in that data file.
