After years of using Appbrain Search (and a few other ones), i switched to DuckDuckGo, because of its privacy protection (the tendency of Google to associate information with your accounts). Summary
The last version I used (3.0.0) was missing. Now in version 4.0.0, the app is improved and includes much needed features. The main window is now full screen as to not impede other apps and the catalog displays lists and thumbnails with all the media files.
Readerware will be able to get it’s best rating after I’ve spent more time with it.
I love the last version of it. It is very well made. The only improvements that I could see that they would make are: 1. add a photo or video browser to it so you could more easily browse your photos or videos. 2. A volume control is useful because if you are listening to a playlist or something on it, having some sort of volume control would be really nice.
Summary
it has been a really great media organizer for me. It has been great to be able to organize it the way I wanted, and it’s been easy to add media that I want.
i just don’t think you should pay $3.99 for something that should cost 50 cents. give me the full version, not this app.
