We are requesting funds to continue our project, “New Pathways to Antiparasitic Drugs”. In the past we have focused on novel drug development in the neglected parasitic diseases of tropical sub-Saharan Africa. We have developed a screen for ATPase inhibitors against Leishmania, found that target is an ER-based Ca2+ transporter and we are now poised to extend our efforts. We propose to include parasitic protozoa (Toxoplasma, Trypanosoma and Leishmania) in our efforts to elucidate how these important parasites evolved resistance to the chemotherapy of Chagas’ disease, malaria and leishmaniasis. We have already completed one series of screens and are proposing to expand our efforts to include further structural and molecular biological studies. Our overall goal is to define novel cellular sites of action for the current drugs used to treat these diseases and to provide targets for molecules with novel chemical scaffolds that can lead to the development of new drugs against these important parasitic diseases. ViewPager in a Fragment
I have a viewPager that is showing videos that I am downloading from a YouTube channel but they only want to show videos for the day that the channel is talking about.
I have been able to download the videos and put them into a playlist but I can’t find anyway to stop the videos from playing and to just display the image of the Video.
What I want to do in a nutshell is:
Download the video (obviously).
While downloading, check the video date so I know how to paginate the list.
Display the video image as the video is playing and after the video has finished, there is a picture of a stop button.
Press the stop button and that finishes the video.
I am following the YouTube Video On Android App.
But that is NOT what I need so I asked this new question. I think that I need to add a ViewPager inside of a Fragment, but I’m not so sure.
A:
1) Downlaod the video from the channel
2) Display the video images
3) When user click the download button for the video that is loading, stop it.
