Although the Steam page doesn’t specify if the Mac version will be out in October or November, the graphics look quite nice and certainly the game is worth the $30 price tag for an indie title. The game is still in development so there are a few issues that must be worked out.To start the game, you need a key from Steam. From there you have the option to start your journey. I have yet to explore the world as a new character and play a couple of combat missions. You don’t receive a free key just to enjoy the game, you need to earn it by making a purchase on Steam. Then you get a Steam Gift and a small item in your inventory.In the main menu, you can see the various difficulty levels. My level at the start was Episode 1 Easy, and it was recommended that players start with that first. You can freely change difficulty levels with the L and R keys on your keyboard. There are also some difficulty options in the game.As you are in the game, use the left and right arrow keys to move. Press SPACE to perform actions like attacking, running, hitting objects, defending, using items, etc. You can also use the mouse to point in the direction you want to go and move around the map. The game doesn’t use a directional pad. There is also a light bar and a number in the corner that can be seen in-game. It will show the amount of health and mana you have. Check the light bar to keep track of how much is left in each at any moment, or just sit and meditate while your next action is selected. The light bar can also be increased with the W key.This is the vendor menu where you can buy supplies with your points. You can also repair items. It is located in the bottom left corner of the screen. You will also have the ability to do some crafting, which is done using the minigame.Point and click on the objects you need to interact with to successfully complete each object.
